Nieuwpoort was largely destroyed during World War I, but now this quiet little town has been rebuilt and offers a harbor for quite a few boats. It was our first stop in Belgium.

Town was a bit of a hike from the harbor, but it was charming and had a really good bakery. When we explored the town, we found an open-air art show going on. That was a real bonus.
